Blade Repair Technicians
We are seeking skilled & reliable Blade Repair Technicians with a structured approach to wind turbine blade repairs & inspections
As a Blade Repair Technician for Vento, you will be responsible for performing high-quality blade repairs in line with technical documentation and standards.
You will collaborate closely with client site managers while coordinating with Vento’s team leaders and back-office support.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform blade repairs in accordance with technical instructions, standards, and guidelines.
- Ensure strict compliance with all safety regulations, protocols, and industry standards.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive repair reports and other required technical documentation.
- Ensure the accuracy of time tracking and reporting for all working hours and project tasks.
- Operate and manage company vehicles, including vans, as needed.
- Conduct daily toolbox meetings with all relevant on-site technicians to ensure alignment and safety.
- Participate in and follow up on project meetings both on-site and remotely (via Teams) in coordination with the back-office.
- Follow-up on delivery and shipping coordination, control, registration, and approval of arriving goods.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in the inspection and repair of wind turbine blades from various leading manufacturers
- GWO Basic Safety Training
- You have valid medical certificate
- Minimum blade B / Basic blade repair certificate
- Driver’s license cat. B
- Fluent English skills are required
- You must be a European Passport holder to apply
PREFERRED, BUT NOT MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Certification in Personal Safety when Working with Epoxy and Isocyanates
- IRATA Level 1, 2 or 3
- Vestas BTO/ESQ/LOTO 2
